PRISM Program

The Pelvic, Reproductive, Intimacy, Sexuality and Mental Health program (PRISM) offers behavior health services to our uro-gynecology, gynecologic oncology, maternal fetal medicine and women’s ambulatory health patients.

The multi-disciplinary program is the first of its kind in the region to combine mental, sexual and intimacy support for post-treatment patients within the gynecological practice.

Dr. Sanne Wortel

Individual and group sessions are led by Dr. Sanne Wortel, Clinical Health Psychologist with Hartford HealthCare’s Women’s Health Services, and member of the Health Psychology Department at the Institute of Living. Specializing in health psychology, sexual health and trauma, Dr. Wortel completed her PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Connecticut, and completed her internship at the Greater Hartford Clinical Psychology Consortium.

Her passion for helping others with their sexuality, intimacy and reproductive health guides her experienced and compassionate approach to helping you live your healthiest life.
