Pelvic Health

When women facing issues like incontinence or a prolapsed bladder want cutting-edge treatments, they turn to us. Our doctors use the latest minimally invasive procedures and non-surgical options to reduce potential complications... and recovery time.

Pelvic Floor Disorders (PFDs) are a group of conditions that affect the organs and support structure of the female pelvic floor. Symptoms vary with type of PFDs. These are very common conditions that can affect up to 1 out of 4 women over the lifespan. Many women are too embarrassed to talk about their pelvic floor disorders or seek help from a specialist. Different women may also experience different symptoms. Symptoms typically begin gradually and progress over time.

There are three main types of pelvic floor disorders:

  • Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP), also called dropped bladder, dropped uterus
  • Bladder Control, also called urinary incontinence (UI)
  • Bowel Control, also called accidental bowel leakage (ABL)

Our specialists evaluate and treat pelvic floor disorders including:

  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Fecal incontinence
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Genital fistulas
  • Congenital reproductive anomalies
