Bio

Dr. Sandhya Dhanjal is an oncologist/hematologist with the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute. Her areas of clinical interest includes cancer of the breasts, lungs, gastrointestinal system, ovaries, fallopian tubes and peritoneal area, as well as hematologic and endometrial cancer.

A graduate of City University of New York, Dr. Dhanjal earned a medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and then a fellowship in medical oncology-hematology at Yale University School of Medicine.

She is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology, and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Dhanjal is fluent in Spanish and Hindi.
