Bio

Parth S. Shah, MD, joined Hartford Specialists as a vascular and endovascular surgeon. He performs surgery at both The Hospital of Central Connecticut and Hartford Hospital.

The specific areas of clinical and research interest include Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) Management of complex thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms and aortic dissection Limb salvage/Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) Carotid artery stenosis, carotid stenting (CAS).

Dr. Shah is a graduate of Smt. N.H.L. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery and then served as chief resident in general surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed a fellowship in vascular surgery in the University of Connecticut program at Hartford Hospital. Dr. Shah also has a Masters in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD.
