Richard Sekerak, MD, is an internal medicine specialist with the Hartford HealthCare Medical Group.
Dr. Sekerak came to Hartford HealthCare from ProHealth Physicians, where he served patients at Trumbull Primary Care for more than two years. Prior to that, he spent five years serving as a primary care specialist in Trumbull with St. Vincent’s Multi-Specialty Group.
He earned his medical degree from Autonomous University Guadalajara in Mexico. He completed residencies in internal medicine through New York University at Booth Memorial and St. Vincent’s medical centers.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Sekerak’s areas of clinical interests are preventative and acute care for the well patient population, and management of patients with complex chronic diseases. He is a member of both the Connecticut and Fairfield County medical societies.
